Amenities include:
• Views of valley and of the mountain resort
• Slopeside location
• Outdoor Hot Tub located on private deck
• Wetbar
• Laundry room
• Audio System, TV, CD and DVD
• High Speed Internet

This slopeside gem of a home sits on the edge of the Bridger Teton National Forest, a short hop east of the Union Pass chairlift – a vantage point that affords spectacular views of the valley below and the mountain above.
Belying its 3,500 square feet, Barry House feels like a cozy cabin.

Every detail is designed with the snow enthusiast in mind. Covered metal stairs led to the front entrance, making for stress-free steps in snow, in boots. A ski rack on the front stairway offers convenient storage. The foyer features a heated drying closet for wet ski clothes and a bench for resting weary ski legs.

A hallway leads to the open kitchen and dining room. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a wet bar – the perfect spot for après-ski storytelling. The dining room, ringed by tall windows with mountain views, offers hardwood floors and access to the deck with its hot tub. The laundry room and pantry adjoin the kitchen and the garage entryway.

A spacious living room lies on the lower level and, through its abundant amenities, welcomes gatherings with family and friends. Ample windows frame spectacular views to the south, east and west. A towering stone fireplace comes with a gas insert. An entertainment console features a flat screen TV/CD/DVD player. Furnishings include a game table and a built-in window seat for snuggling up with a good book or gazing out at the scenery.

The four bedrooms are tucked upstairs and share two full bathrooms (a third bathroom, downstairs, sits next to the kitchen). The spacious king bedroom features a TV and access to the deck (a shared bathroom lies across the hall). There are two twin bedrooms – cozy and comfortable – and a fourth bedroom with two queen beds, a TV and deck access.

A single car bay in the back garage is accessible only by 4WD vehicles, however non-4WD cars can use the front parking area.

*Please note that this unit is available for lodging only. Gatherings that exceed the maximum occupancy of this unit are prohibited.

Mountain weather is variable and unpredictable. Resort conditions and ski access may be weather and snow dependent.

Feedback

The house was great, just a couple of things to share. The biggest was that we couldn't park in the garage because there was another large vehicle (I assume owners) in the largest spot so our SUV wouldn't fit in the other spot. Just annoying that there was a garage and we had to park outside. Ski in, ski out was a little challenging since there was no defined way you should go. Had to trek our way thru trees to figure it out. The service was great, very responsive, and love being able to get lift tickets thru you and have them waiting there. Overall, a great trip and thank you. Jim

It was a beautiful. Loved the family room, where we could all enjoy apres ski activities. The hot tub was a game changer. Thank you very much!

Great Place for a Big Group

We had 9 people staying at the house and it never felt crowded. For skiing... It's a very short walk to a trail down to the Union Pass lift and you can ski right back to the house. For getting to/from the village... we usually walked there and Uber'd back. It's a 10-15 min walk to the village and entirely flat or downhill. The kids would sometimes walk back, but my wife and I would Uber back. Never took more than a few mins to get an Uber and usually ran about $17. The house... lots of space to spread out. Very clean. The entry way and heating closet were a big bonus that we weren't expecting. The great room is downright huge and was perfect for chilling out at the end of the day. Never felt crowded in the kitchen or dining area. Tons of space for food/alcohol that you bring with you, including a side counter in the kitchen and a pantry. It takes a bit to figure out how to get the water temp just right in the showers. The shower head in the downstairs shower is super low. Some of the mattresses were good. Some were a little soft. Hard to please everyone here. Washer/dryer are newer and we used them a few times during the week. Hot tub was nice to warm up at the end of the day and a few of the kids used it in the morning, too. If you are looking for ski in/out and aren't looking for a place that is right near the apreski scene then this house is a great fit. We would definitely come back. Thanks for having us!

Great Place

Really enjoyed our time at Jackson hole staying at the Barry house. They had closed the union pass lift given it was the end of the season so it wasn’t ski in ski out for us but could imagine the convenience in peak season. The living room did get quite warm until we figured opening the windows during the day would prevent this. Overall great place with everything we needed.
