A Village condo offers all of the comforts of home.

The entry welcomes with its carpeted floor and built-in bookshelves. The great room lies just beyond, with its open floor plan encompassing the living, dining and kitchen areas. A flat-screen TV/DVD player encourages unwinding, while a chestnut leather sofa and armchair invite lounging. A flagstone fireplace anchors the room. Ceramics sit atop the mantle, and a framed map of Jackson Hole hangs above the couch. A wood dining table comfortable seats four. A Fred Kingwill watercolor painting lends understated elegance to the space.
The gourmet, open kitchen features grey granite countertops, a dark slate backsplash, modern appliances, a wine rack and a double basin stainless steel sink.

The hallway offers two closets and a detached bath with a granite counter, tile floors, artistic lights and a tile tub/shower.
The first bedroom features a queen bed with a wooden bedframe. Matching side tables and a chest of drawer offer storage. Bronze lamps lend light. Additional amenities include a flat-screen TV, two classic armchairs and Teton photography. Valley views and abundant natural light make the bedroom a delight.

The Sleeping Indian complex lies within walking distance of the lifts, boutiques, bars and restaurants that make the Village a bustling place year-round. From authentic Thai food to hipster woolens and high-tech gear, the Village carries everything you crave on vacation.

Well appointed kitchen, except for the “ Mr. Coffee” machine…. Makes the worst coffee, no matter the brand of coffee you use. At least use a cone shaped coffee maker. The garbage disposal didn’t. The key to the firewood shack didn’t work. The pump for dispensing lotion in the bathroom wasn’t working. The gutter with no leader above the door to the firewood is an accident to happen…. When the snow melts, it drips straight down in front of the firewood door. It accumulates and creates a nice iced mound. A perfect spot for slipping out. Otherwise I liked the place. Very convenient to the village via the use of the shuttle.

Nice condo

The place was very nice, but in an expensive area if you plan to eat out a lot. The people staying above us walked so loudly. We don’t know if it’s just them or if it would have been the same for anyone staying in the above unit. Otherwise we really liked it.

Perfect location for visiting the GTNP. Only reason for not giving all 5’s was that you could hear the people walking in the unit above. Not really an issue unless you are trying to sleep early to be up be 4am to catch the sunrise in the northern part of the park.

Accommodations good but tech issues dampened experience

The apartment itself was great -- felt like many ski lodges, clean, and with good wifi (which was good because 2 of us were working there at once). One downside was that the lighting overall was not great. If I needed to take physical notes at night, I found myself straining my eyes. The main downside of our stay had to do with tech issues -- when we arrived, it was dark, and our given key code did not work. When we tried it for the second time, we thought we heard someone inside the apartment, which freaked us out. It was after office hours so it took quite a while to get someone on the phone, and throughout that time we were searching the rest of the complex to determine whether we were even trying the right unit (turns out we were). When we finally got someone on the phone, he was helpful, though it took several tries on new codes before one worked. He also said to call him first thing in the morning to get a new code, which we did, but then the new code he sent did not work. We kept using the code that worked on arrival but were constantly worried that it would randomly stop working. Exactly that happened on the second to last day of our stay, when we suddenly couldn't get into our place anymore. Luckily this time it happened during regular office hours, so we were able to get a new code relatively quickly (though it still took ~10 mins or so to finally get in). Overall I would recommend the accommodations part of this stay, but the issues with the keypad severely dampened our overall opinion of our stay.

Our Grand Tetons rental

Jill was outstanding and very prompt on any concerns we may have during our stay. After our first night stay we received a text message from her asking us how our first night was. We did have a concern on the comfort of the bed and she did have the housekeeping bring over a comfort pad and it made a difference. Having people reach out and make your stay as comfortable and listen to any concerns is a well respected service to have from the personal of the rental unit company. We would definitely be a return customer and to view God’s country of the Grand Tetons.

We wanted to be close to Jackson and the park, and this fit the bill. Condo was clean, spacious for the two of us, and had everything we needed. Also nice to be close to restaurants right there in the village after a day of exploring when we didn't want to fight with Jackson traffic/crowds.

summer vacation

Plan to bring grandkids with us next summer. Lots to do at Teton Village. We love the Tetons, enjoy walking on trails and scenery. Only negative about this property was being able to hear people above us walk around.

Noisy

JH Resort service was very good, but the noise of the upstairs unit was very uncomfortable. 5am or 6am when you want to sleep and listen to people walking and talking was very bothersome , every day.

Teton Village stay

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. It was a 1 bedroom apt with 1 bath. It was great!!!! A full kitchen so we could make a meal if we did t feel like going out, a nice sized living room plenty of seating, the fire place was gorgeous, and a great little deck to drink coffee on in the morning and a glass of wine at night! The location was great, quiet & private yet close to all of the action.
