A wood sign above the front door greets guests with “Winter Wishes,” a gesture at the cozy Western interiors inside.
The hospitality continues into the foyer with its tiles, accent chair, wall hooks and closet.
The first bedroom, just beyond the entrance, features a pair of twin beds topped by embroidered duvets, Woolrich pillows and fur throws. A wreath and Teton photography decorate the walls, as does a flat-screen TV.
In the hallway, the renovated bathroom features a granite counter, saddle lamp, bronze fixtures, a washer and dryer, and a granite tile shower/tub.
The great room encompasses the kitchen, living and dining areas, all under a cathedral ceiling. The open kitchen offers corian countertops, wood-paneled cabinets and modern appliances (a Western tableau is tucked in the eaves above the kitchen). A moose rack presides over the dining area, displayed next to a large moose photograph. An antler chandelier dangles above the stone-inlayed dining table that seats six. The studded leather couch complements the leather-framed, cowboy-upholstered armchair next to it. The rock fireplace – capped by a flat-screen TV – invites lounging in the adjacent reading nook, upholstered in the same cowboy fabric as the armchair (fur pillows make the nook even more enticing). Sliding glass doors lead to a private deck with a swinging bench and gas grill.
Climb carpeted stairs and find a loft with a leather pullout couch and flat-screen TV on the landing. Next door, a second bedroom boasts a queen bed beneath a quilt backed by an Americana headboard. Further accents include a wreath with antlers, cow painting and forest views. A renovated detached bath features a glass shower and sage accent tiles.
The Aspens sits a quick five miles south of Teton Village, and within walking distance of the Teton Pines Golf Course, as well as a gourmet market, well-stocked liquor store, two beloved restaurants (one Austrian, one Japanese), a bustling coffeehouse, a UPS store and a salon, among other conveniences.
